HCL Technologies Ltd on November 08 2007 has announced that it has received the National Outsourcing Associations award for consistent excellence in outsourcing practice across all disciplines. The award was presented at the annual NOA awards ceremony.
The awards, announced recently at a glittering ceremony at The Brewery in Central London, were hosted by Scottish comedian and radio presenter Fred MacAulay. Attracting over 500 professionals from the UKs outsourcing industry, the awards recognise organisations for success in outsourcing projects, as well as raising awareness for the importance of best practice in outsourcing. The awards acknowledge achievements in IT outsourcing, business process outsourcing, as well as sector specific achievements in telecommunications, finance and utilities.
The Highly Commended Vendor award was given to the Company in recognition of the work done by all three of its highly successful business lines: BPO, Applications and Infrastructure. All three divisions have been instrumental in providing businesses with leading, innovative collaborative outsourcing solutions and first rate customer services which transform businesses performance. The BPO division in particular has enjoyed phenomenal growth and success through its two highly successful near-shoring centres in Northern Ireland.
