Medical Laboratory Technology as well called medical laboratory science is a related health occupation which is disturbed with the analysis, treatment and preclusion of disease throughout the make use of clinical laboratory tests. These tests assist doctors to identify, analyze and treat diseases. A Medical Laboratory Technologist perform these tests by examining body tissues, fluids, blood typing, chemical analyses, microorganism screening, cell counts of human body etc. They play a significant role in gathering the information’s required, testing, sampling, reporting and documentation of these inquiries. They determine the occurrence, extent or nonappearance of disease and give data required to assess the usefulness of treatment. There are two stages of medical laboratory employees - Technicians and Technologists. Medical technologist’s effort in five most important areas of the laboratory i.e. in Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood banking, Immunology and Microbiology. They also exertion in the areas of phlebotomy, cytotechnology, urinalysis, parasitology, coagulation, and serology.
